Celo has launched Plumo, a Snark-based PoS light client

On April 5, Celo developer Kobi Gurkan announced on social media that the company has launched Plumo, a Snark-based lightweight client. Plumo is Celo's proof-of-stake upgrade protocol. The new PoS version of Celo will enable Web and mobile clients to quickly synchronize the latest state of the network by downloading smaller amounts of data, orders of magnitude smaller than the data required to synchronize with the light POW-based client protocol.
