Digital wallet operator TNG Digital has raised about $168 million, led by Lazada and others
TNG Digital, operator of Touch 'n Go eWallet service in Malaysia, has announced the closing of a 750 million ringgit ($168 million) funding round. Lazada and Touch'n Go led the round.
TNG Digital, which was co-founded by Touch'n Go and Ant Group, has raised a total of 1 billion ringgit ($224 million) in funding over the past 18 months to further strengthen its market leadership in e-commerce, Digital finance and payments in Southeast Asia.
