Solana: Massive wallet theft may be linked to Slope private key leak

2022-08-04 08:28
According to the official Solana account Solana Status, according to the BlockBeats news, after investigation, the large-scale theft of Solana wallet is related to Slope wallet, and all the stolen addresses are created, imported or used on the mobile end of Slope wallet. Solana said the details of the attack are still being investigated, and that information so far suggests Slope wallet private keys were transferred to an app monitoring platform, leading to the massive attack. Meanwhile, crypto KOL Fooba and Phantom Wallet also said on social media that Slope was involved in the massive Solana attack. Foobat means that because Slope wallet sends a plaintext private key to the server, the stolen Phantom wallet and ETH wallet are attacked due to Slope mnemonic import.
