Meta has agreed to delay its acquisition of VR company Within Unlimited

Facebook parent Meta Platforms has agreed to delay the completion of its acquisition of VR company Within Unlimited, according to a court filing on August 7, BlockBeats reported. The company's offerings include Supernatural, a fitness app. In July, the Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit seeking to block the deal and asked a judge in federal court in San Francisco for a temporary restraining order to block the acquisition. In joint court documents dated August 4, Meta agreed not to close the deal until the end of 2022, or the first business day after a judge decides whether the case can proceed.
