Whatever is happening to you right now can be an incredible motivation for what you do next.

If this crash has left you feeling hopeless, listen to one of my stories.

In around 17 or 18 years, I saw my profit gradually disappear by 20 times, and finally I lost 2/3 of the principal. I became angry with the world for no reason and denounced the unfair market.

I was a doctor, learning code in my spare time. I made a plan that in the next cycle, I was going to make it, and I had nothing to lose, and I channeled all my anger, all my frustration, into my studies, into computer science.

A man must fulfill his destiny. Even though I'm 30 years old, I'm still playing this game that belongs to young people. There's a lot for me to learn. It's not easy to keep up with them.

I wasn't getting any younger, but I always knew my strengths were grit and hunger. Advanced algorithms, advanced machine learning, functional programming, this was an area I had never known before. I had never studied math, and I had to teach myself advanced math every night to keep up.

Finally, in two and a half years, I got two degrees. I'm not a math genius, but I can make up for it by being clumsy and diligent, and I got a job at Google after graduation, which made me feel very accomplished.

But my dream was not to make money and buy a big G. One day a few months later, I remembered my desire to become a crypto field builder.

I then worked out my timeline: 1-2 years at Google, then a year at a large DeFi company, and finally starting my own DeFi project.

But no, life gave me a different work plan. I started Trade Joe three months into my new job, and it started as a sideline. And then you know what happened.

Looking back now, would I have felt such a strong urge without the pain of the crash? To be honest, I don't think I would have been the better person I am if it hadn't been for the pain.

So don't lose hope in life by any means. Whatever happens to you now can be an incredible motivation for what you do next.
