On October 31, the Ethereum Lisbon Hackathon came to a close. This hackathon participated in a total of 97 projects, 352 developers.
Here's a quick look at the 10 winning projects at the Hackathon.
(referred to as "D")
"D" is an app designed to protect users' dApp data in a decentralized manner, and its core is "EIP-5630". "D" built an app called Metamask Snap and implemented "EIP-5630". At the same time, it provides a wallet interface for data encryption and decryption using the private key of the wallet. User data in the dApp will be stored in a decentralized manner through IPFS.
Realms Assassins-Fog of War is a data storage protocol for on-chain games published by BibliothecaDAO. It is built on Starknet and aims to solve the problem of encrypting trusted public information.
BibliothecaDAO is designed to keep the data of players on the chain private -- it can only be viewed if certain conditions are met. It likens Fog of War to a trusted third party 'dungeon master' that stores private information and allows players to play multiplayer on-chain games without zk hashing.
SafeCheck's tagline is "Better insights about your transactions," and it helps users understand the target address and the result of a transaction before sending it.
In essence, SafeCheck is a lowering of the barrier to blockchain participation and is user friendly for newcomers.
Archive the Web allows users to set up automatic website archiving at scheduled intervals (i.e., every 60 minutes) and store it on Arweave. Protocol users pay with ETH, ERC-20, or AR.
Meanwhile, Archive the Web has developed a customized Metamask Snapthat that allows Metamask to interact directly with Arweave/Bundlr, using only the ETH//ERC20 wallet, You can interact with the Smartweave contract through the new Warp Ethereum signature.
Use cases for Archive the Web include, but are not limited to:
1) Revenue and preservation of digital history;
2) Archive government (history) websites;
3) Archive personal or corporate websites;
4) Archiving news reports;
5) Record the true history;
6) Add layers of data redundancy to the work of the Internet Archive/Backtracking machine by launching a parallel world network archiving initiative.
Multi Resolver Snap is a Snap application that can take over the tasks of the dApps parser. With Multi Resolver Snap, users can send messages to anything (Twitter name, email, ENS, Lens......) Send cryptocurrencies without developers having to worry about integrating multiple parsers. Multi Resolver Snap aims to make the world of Web3 simpler.
Snap-Sync Verkle Trees attempts to perform POC and draft retrieval of Verkle Trees through IPFS, using snapshots of recent blocks for faster and sustainable retrieval.
Among them, VerkleIPFS is a proof-of-concept tool that allows the generation and retrieval of mainnet Verkle trees in significantly reduced time by using snapshots compressed and stored on the IPFS network.
Snap-Sync Verkle Trees is designed to use IPFS to solve Ethereum's core development problem: long Verkle Tree computation times.
Lekker Finance is a decentralized perpetual futures trading tool based on Euler Finance. Lekker Finance allows users to enter leveraged positions on Euler Finance and, by using flash, take a position with only one trade. Lekker Finance was launched to simplify the process of trading futures.
Zilly is an embedded widget that helps brands create a Web3 membership program. Through Zilly, brands can promote user engagement and brand loyalty through certain activities.
Trust Score Snap helps non-technical users assess how secure they are interacting with smart contracts. It displays a composite score, which is composed of:
1) the popularity of the smart contract;
2) Interaction frequency between the user's wallet and the smart contract;
3) The attachment time of the smart contract, etc.
It shows users how risky it is to interact with a smart contract in a simple way.
GlacierDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization whose goal is to preserve open source code as a public good. They argue that code, like data, should be preserved in a way that resists censorship.
