Discover profit opportunities in VC wallets, with the top 20 cryptocurrency funds totaling more than 1,200 wallets. I've been watching them closely throughout January/February. Here I'll cover 8 of the largest venture capital firms, their largest holdings and recent investments.

1.Jump Trading

The total is $3.8 billion:

- $3.25 billion ETH

- $328 million $SHIB

- $81 million MATIC

- $50 million $USDC

- $50 million wBTC

- $20 million $LINK

- $14 million $COMP

Smaller positions ($1 million to $10 million) include: $HFT, $AVAX, $SNX, $CHZ, $MASK, $AAVE, $LDO.

In the past few days, Jump has redeemed more than $50 million of BUSDs on Paxos (possibly an arbitrage strategy). Note: These are just EVM wallets.

The total is $87.2 million:

- $21.7 million $MATIC

- $18.4 million $AAVE

- $15.7 million $UNI

Smaller positions ($100,000 - $1 million) include: $SUSHI, $NXM, $BAL, $GAMMA, $OHM, $PERP.

Interestingly, $MATIC is their largest public position. Most of them were even purchased in 2023.

Polygon will launch their zkEVM on March 27. Meanwhile, Blockchain Capi t a l co-led a $200 million Series C funding round for zkSync with Dragonfly.

The total balance is $310 million:

- $15.5 million USDC/ETH LP

- $13.7 million $COMP

- Provided $7.5 million BTC on Venus agreement (borrowed $2.5 million ETH)

- Aave offered $7.5 million in USDC mortgage

- $3 million $MKR

- Provided $wETH for $1.8 million on Radiant.

a16z controls over 4% of the total supply of $UNI, which gives them enough governance power to reject proposals (they recently did the proposal on deploying Uniswap on the BNB chain through Wormwhole). a16z has also invested in $LDO, $DYDX, $STG, $OP and others.

4.Amber Group

The total balance is $245 million:

- $119 million US $ETH

- $74 million $USDC/$USDT

- $21.5 million FET

- $8.3 million in $DYDX

- $3.6 million wBTC

- $2.2 million $SWISE

- $1.8 million $CVX.

Smaller positions ($100,000 to $1 million) include: $MATIC, $AAVE, $LINK, $GRT, $LDO, $SYN, $FTM.

Of all the LSDS, Amber Group has the most faith in $SWISE. Amber Group has bought more than $20 million of $FET (FetchAI) in the past three days. In addition, Amber has recently interacted with wallets holding $17 million ETH, $8 million RNDR, and $5 million MATIC, which could also be their wallets.

5.Wintermute

The total balance is $401 million:

- $301 million for wETH

- $47 million $OP

- $22.2 million LDO

- US $17 million ETH

- $GALA $7.5 million (most acquisitions this month)

- $7.3 million FTM

- $6.6 million in $DYDX

- $6 million $BLUR

- $5.7 million $HFT

- $5.1 million $MATIC.

Wintermute deposited more than $5 million of BLUR into deposit addresses on several trading platforms before and after the airdrop (possibly dumping).

Over the past few days, the fund appears to have been arbitraging/selling more than $20 million of BUSDs. Finally, Wintermute seems to have sold APE for around $4 million in February.

6. Paradigm

The total balance is $382 million:

- $195 million LDO

- US $166.5 million ETH

- $20.47 million MKR

This is likely to be a small part of their larger holdings. Some of their investments include Optimism, Synthetix, DYDX, Osmosis, Uniswap, Starkware, and more.

Interestingly, Paradigm is one of the largest investors in Lido Finance. As of now, 79 million of their 100 million LDO tokens have been unlocked (fully unlocked on May 1, 2023).

Paradigm has also invested more than $2 million in MKR for MakerDAO governance.
