Horizen partners with Ankr to become one of the first RPC providers for EON.

According to official sources, Ankr, a Web3 infrastructure provider in the blockchain industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Horizen to become one of the first remote procedure call (RPC) providers for Horizen. Horizen's EON is a smart contract platform that is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Ankr's advanced infrastructure and services will bring additional accessibility, scalability, and reliability to the EON ecosystem to support a wide range of use cases, including DeFi, gaming, and NFTs.  

In this collaboration, Ankr will provide a set of development tools to help create and deploy smart contract applications quickly and easily on EON. These tools include Liquid Staking SDK, Web3 Game SDK, and AppChains as a service. With Ankr's high-performance RPC node infrastructure, EON can handle any request load, making it more scalable and efficient. Rob Viglione, co-founder and CEO of Horizen, said that this collaboration will significantly enhance the functionality of the EON ecosystem, bringing unparalleled value to developers and users. 

Currently, Horizen EON is running on its permanent public testnet Gobi and is supported by a network of products, integrations, and tools, including Ankr. With the launch of this partnership, the EON ecosystem will welcome more dApps and services, and in the coming months, will combine with Horizen's support for zero-knowledge cross-chain protocols and Ankr's advanced Web3 infrastructure to create a permissionless, interoperable, and customizable blockchain ecosystem.
