BlockBeats reported on September 27 that the social platform Telegram and its TON (Telegram Open Network) Foundation have cooperated with Tencent, hoping to build Telegram into a "super application ecosystem platform" similar to WeChat, allowing third-party developers and businesses to develop small programs from games to restaurants to interact with users.
In fact, Tencent Cloud’s cooperation with the TON Foundation is to build nodes for the TON public chain in order to achieve further development.
It is reported that Telegram has been developing a platform on which third-party developers, from games to restaurants, can build mini-applications to interact with users: "Developers can use JavaScript to create infinitely flexible interfaces that can be launched inside Telegram and can completely replace any website."

Compared to Telegram's "son" TON, Telegram, as the most crypto-friendly platform, is more famous for a variety of crypto communication groups, robots and announcement platforms.
In order to build this platform, Telegram laid the foundation of its blockchain with the help of the (TON) Foundation. Just recently, the TON Foundation announced a partnership with Tencent Cloud, which "has successfully supported TON validators and plans to further expand its services to help meet TON's high computing intensity and network bandwidth requirements."
In a previous in-depth article by BlockBeats, Tencent's blockchain business was deeply analyzed, pointing out that Tencent once had the "most complete metaverse layout", but now Tencent's blockchain business is basically dominated by Tencent Cloud.

However, Tencent's business exploration in the blockchain and Web3 fields is not driven from top to bottom. The organizational structure is too chaotic and loose, and lacks a real strategic backbone. Under the dual compression of the group's cost reduction and efficiency improvement and top-level decision-making, Tencent's blockchain business was eventually cut in half. Today, in the new Web3 and virtual asset fields, Tencent has fully retreated and lost the ability to compete with Alibaba.
In addition, TON, backed by Telegram, is a Layer 1 blockchain solution developed in 2018. The previous article also analyzed Telegram's TON and believed that it is expected to usher in further development this year.

In short, TON is a very promising project. By leveraging Telegram messenger, it increases the chances of adoption. In the difficult year of 2022, it is one of the best performing tokens.
In fact, since this year, the TON Foundation has not only reached cooperation with multiple crypto industry project parties, but also continued to deepen its exploration progress in the crypto industry.
On September 21, the decentralized electronic agreement signing platform EthSign announced that it has reached a cooperation with the TON Foundation to jointly launch the EthSign robot, which supports users to receive contract notifications to be signed in Telegram, and can sign contracts in Telegram, greatly simplifying transactions.
On September 13, the TON Foundation announced that it would launch TON Space, a self-hosted digital wallet based on Telegram, globally in November 2023, but the service area does not include the United States and some other countries. In addition, the TON Foundation stated that projects built on TON will have priority access to Telegram Ads, the advertising platform of the messaging application.

According to the team, all TON Space users can seamlessly connect their Telegram accounts to various TON-based Web3 applications. TON Space will act as a blockchain account and fully support the TON ecosystem including Toncoin, Jettons and Collectibles. Currently, users can connect to TON Space directly from TON-based dApps.
