On November 27th, the Bitcoin NFT project OrdiBots released the mint guide for the OrdiBots 3D series. According to the information released, the series will begin minting on November 28th at 3 PM UTC (11 PM Beijing time). In the official introduction, the OrdiBots 3D released this time is "the first interactive 3D AR Ordinals collection completely engraved on the Bitcoin blockchain."
Please note that OrdiBots' coin minting will be divided into three stages:
Phase 1: Confirmation and Claiming, 3 PM UTC (11 PM Beijing Time)
Phase 2: First come, first served for the whitelist, with oversubscription, at 4 PM UTC (midnight Beijing time).
Stage 3: Public Sale, 5 PM UTC (1 AM Beijing Time)
In the first stage, only holders of OrdiBots 2D (teams, collaborators, developers, and all individuals who have directly or indirectly contributed to the OrdiBots experiment) can mint. BlockBeats has learned that the current floor price of the OrdiBots 2D series on Magic Eden is 0.018 BTC (valued at approximately $710).
In the second phase, the originally planned amount of virtual assets to be allocated has been increased fourfold (approximately 700 seats), mainly to ensure that early supporters can participate in the experiment in a timely manner and avoid the risk of confusion or network congestion during the public sale period.
If there are still remaining virtual assets at the end of the second phase, these assets will be made available for public sale in the third phase to anyone interested in purchasing them.
To forge Ordibot, you first need a Bitcoin wallet to send or receive Ordinals. Users can choose Xverse, Unisat, or Leather.

After preparing your wallet, visit the official MINT link and enter the coin minting page hosted on the Magic Eden official platform. Connect your wallet and wait for the corresponding stage to mint digital assets.
The official recommendation is to have at least 16 US dollars in your wallet for paying the minting price and transfer fees. In addition, the minting price should not exceed 10 US dollars, which includes the pre-engraving fee paid by the development team for pre-engraving the collection, as well as the service fee of about 2 US dollars for Magic Eden and Luminex.
When the minting phase is opened, simply click on minting and approve the wallet transaction that pops up for verification. Once confirmed on the chain, OrdiBot will directly send it to the wallet.
According to the official website, OrdiBots 3D is "the first interactive 3D AR Ordinals collection completely engraved on the Bitcoin blockchain". To understand its meaning, we need to start with the BRC-721 protocol.
You can participate in the first wave of user minting for OrdiBots 3D for free. The first group of users eligible for participation are those who hold OrdiBots 2D, which is the first NFT series issued based on BRC-721.
Asset standards based on Ordinals can be divided into homogeneous tokens, non-homogeneous tokens, and other derivative categories. For example, Brc-20 is a standard for issuing homogeneous tokens, which specifies a series of functions such as the name, issuance, and transfer of tokens. BRC-721, on the other hand, is an experimental standard for issuing non-homogeneous tokens (NFTs) on the Bitcoin network, which has richer functionality and greater flexibility compared to native Ordinals NFTs.
The BRC-721 protocol was proposed by Jerry the Martian, the founder of the Bitcoin NFT project DogePunks. He created a new series called OrdiBots to demonstrate the protocol, specifically OrdiBots 2D. Jerry the Martian can be found on Twitter at @0xJerry543.

On October 24th, OrdiBots founder @RAF_BTC announced the release of OrdiBots 3D. The new 3D series uses the BRC-69 standard, which enables complete 3D assets to be implemented on the chain. BRC-69 was created by Luminex Launchpad, which uses recursive inscriptions to optimize the cost of inscriptions using ordinal protocols on Bitcoin, helping to launch recursive collections on Bitcoin. With BRC69, the cost of inscriptions for Ordinals collections can be reduced by more than 90%.
Since its launch in July, BRC-69 has attracted great attention from the community. Through "recursive inscriptions", creators only need to input text instead of uploading image files to present the final image on all "Bitcoin NFTs". Based on this, the size of the inscription will not be limited by the 4MB block size of Bitcoin.

OrdiBots founder @RAF_BTC announced on Twitter early on the 24th that the new series of OrdiBots 3D will be randomly launched. In the tweet announcing OrdiBots 3D, @RAF_BTC made a video, which was the first NFT series OrdiBots issued in May this year using Generative BRC-721. One by one, 3D OrdiBots pushed open the still NFT image door and landed one after another.
At that time, Generative BRC-721 significantly reduced the cost of project parties and users issuing and minting NFTs by "only uploading features and then combining them", but that was just the beginning. BRC-69 gave Ordinals ecology greater imagination space.
OrdiBots 3D series, with augmented reality (AR) function, represents an important milestone in Bitcoin blockchain digital art in the eyes of community enthusiasts.
OrdiBots is an open source CC0 IP project. This allows anyone to use digital assets for commercial purposes without attributing to the original team or creator, emphasizing the commitment to decentralized ownership and utilization.
In addition, OrdiBots wants to emphasize that this project does not include any practical functions, but only serves as a free coin-casting experimental art collection, ensuring that everyone can use it. The only cost involved is the inscription fee and service fee of Magic Eden, which is completely planned by the platform rather than the OrdiBots team, emphasizing inclusiveness and community participation. OrdiBots hopes that this setting ensures that individuals purchase these digital assets only for art and collective experience, not for additional functionality or benefits.
Meanwhile, OrdiBots promises not to profit or receive royalties from the secondary market of artworks, maintaining the integrity of the collection concept and avoiding it becoming purely financial speculation, in order to cultivate a community-driven ecosystem rooted in digital art appreciation and decentralized principles.
