When information begins to have a price, it also gains the potential to be traded and incentivized. InfoFi (Information Finance) has emerged as a new track based on this logic. It no longer sees information as a cheap byproduct of platform production, but as a core resource that can be priced, distributed, validated, and even financialized.

From Kaito, Cookie.fun to Galxe, LOUD, and then projects like GiveRep and Ethos built around reputation mechanisms, InfoFi is no longer just a concept but an experimental field of new content economy woven by multiple products, platforms, and mechanisms.

This article will take multiple typical projects as entry points to systematically explore how InfoFi reshapes the information distribution logic, participant structure, and community incentive model through financial mechanisms, and then answer a more fundamental question: In this age where attention is a scarce resource, who can define the "value of information"?

Kaito (KAITO)

Kaito, as the proposer of the InfoFi concept and a pioneer of the track, needs no introduction. Currently, its native token has a total market value of $455 million, ranking 171st. On May 29, Kaito launched the official NFT series Kaito Genesis, with a floor price of 2.89 ETH at the time of writing.

Yesterday, the founder of Kaito published an article to vindicate InfoFi. With an increasing number of users earning points on platforms like Kaito through long-form content publishing, many crypto users believe that this spreading of information has brought a lot of noise to the entire crypto space. Yu Hu explained that each project's Yapper leaderboard has a self-weighting mechanism - customizable reward rules based on insights, emotional matching, and other dimensions.

The core variable of attention value lies in the differentiation between content disseminators and forms. Some projects focus more on maximizing brand exposure, such as Loudio's operational strategy - meaning their algorithm pays less attention to content quality and depth. In contrast, other projects tend to nurture focused in-depth discussions, especially around specific product-oriented professional deliberation. Projects like Infinex are typical examples of this model.

The core value of Kaito lies in providing customized solutions for different strategies, while feeding back user education and brand awareness through a content filtering mechanism—users can quickly build a brand awareness map from the content types incentivized by the project.

Cookie (COOKIE)

Cookie.fun is an AI-driven modular data layer introduced by Cookie DAO, an instant data panel that was originally used to track token information, market sentiment, and social tweets related to the AI Agent. On May 21, Cookie DAO announced the launch of InfoFi Phase One, introducing cookie.fun v1.0 alpha version and Cookie Snaps, designed to analyze crypto projects and KOLs, and receive rewards for high-quality crypto Twitter content. In addition, Cookie plans to launch a decentralized, community-led reward pool in the future.

Cookie.fun has a significant advantage in information coverage and feature accessibility. The platform provides multidimensional metrics including mindshare, price trends, market sentiment, and community tweets. Furthermore, most of Cookie.fun's advanced features and data are currently available for free, with only the upcoming Cookie Deep Research module requiring holding 100,000 $COOKIE to unlock, making it more open and accessible compared to Kaito.

Galxe (G)

Galxe is a cryptocurrency task distribution platform, formerly the most commonly focused and used platform for airdrop hunters, a marketing platform that many projects cannot miss out on. With the rise of InfoFi track, Galxe, as a bridge between users and projects, has taken another key step.

On May 28, Galxe launched the all-new community growth platform "Starboard," attracting over 20 projects such as Plume, 0G, Dango, injecting a total of over $5 million in reward funds, for example, Plume offering $450,000, Dango allocating 1% of the token supply, and 0G contributing over $100,000. Unlike other projects, Starboard's uniqueness lies in its status as a new product launched by the Galxe platform, with the potential to further integrate with Galxe's task system in the future to expand into more application scenarios.

The key feature of Starboard is that it not only focuses on the "quantity of growth" but also on the "quality of growth." It helps projects accurately identify users who truly drive community development through multidimensional data. Its functional advantages are mainly reflected in three aspects:

1. Global data capture + user self-submission to ensure comprehensive and accurate data

Starboard can automatically capture on-chain transactions, NFT holdings, wallet activity, social media propagation, and other key behavioral data, while also supporting users' active submission of tweet links to enhance data coverage and completeness, ensuring that every genuine contribution is recorded.

2. On-chain + off-chain data dashboard providing a clear view of community operations

As a new generation product within the Galxe ecosystem, Starboard has a comprehensive data dashboard that helps projects integrate and visualize core metrics such as TVL, user interaction frequency, content propagation effectiveness, etc., facilitating a comprehensive assessment of community operations and investment returns.

3. AI sentiment analysis to forecast market sentiment and trend of topics in advance

Starboard's built-in AI sentiment module can track topic popularity and sentiment fluctuations on social platforms, assisting projects in formulating more forward-looking communication and incentive strategies.

For users, Starboard has established a public leaderboard mechanism and an exclusive reward pool system. Users are dynamically ranked based on their on-chain activities and influence on off-chain platforms such as Twitter, with outstanding users having the opportunity to receive exclusive rewards provided by the project team. The platform also supports a contribution visualization feature, ensuring that every valid participation by users is recorded and authenticated, forming a sustainable reputation asset. For projects, Starboard makes rewards more scientific and growth more sustainable.

Loud! (LOUD)

Loud! is the InfoFi native protocol incubated by Kaito AI, which quantifies and tokenizes user attention to incentivize the most influential content creators and community participants. Loud! has launched an Initial Attention Offering (IAO) mechanism for the initial distribution of the token based on users' influence ranking and social interaction data on the Kaito platform.

Its token LOUD was launched on May 31 at 22:00, and users can participate through the following methods:

1. Phase 1: Users ranked in the top 1000 on the Kaito platform's Yap ranking can directly participate in the IAO.

2. Phase Two: Users who have bound their Solana address and have 10 or more smart followers can participate in a first-come, first-served token sale (wallet limit of 0.2 SOL, with excess refunded).

3. Community Interaction: By publishing high-quality content on the Kaito platform, users can accumulate Yaps and exchange them for $LOUD tokens.

Ethos

Ethos is a reputation assessment tool. While its gameplay differs from the InfoFi projects introduced earlier, its core essence is still to score a certain entity through an evaluation system, representing a form of information exchange. The community defines it as a Yelp for KOLs and project teams, measuring on-chain credibility and reputation. Ethos aims to address on-chain fraud in Web3. The protocol provides a set of interrelated mechanisms, including review, collateral, slashing, proof, credibility scoring, governance, etc. These mechanisms together form a common platform that incentivizes ethical behavior and generates credibility scores.

In July last year, Ethos Network announced the completion of a $1.75 million Pre-Seed round of funding solely participated in by the on-chain community. In May this year, it launched the official NFT series Ethos Validators, with the current floor price being 2.3 ETH.

GiveRep

GiveRep currently has 206.9K Twitter followers. Its website includes four main sections, and projects such as the DEX platform Bluefin and the AI design platform Blueprint have already adopted the GiveRep system.

Identity is a social reputation layer designed for crypto users, aiming to help them build an on-chain reputation system by tracking their interaction behavior on X (formerly Twitter). The core metrics of the platform include the Trophy Score, which is calculated based on the views, likes, retweets, and comments on a user's tweets; and Reputation Points, which users can earn by tagging @giverep in tweets or participating in the platform's loyalty program. Identity also supports diverse Loyalty Programs, where users can choose to join crypto projects of interest and receive rewards through post interactions.

Wallchain Quacks

Wallchain Quacks is a key component of the AttentionFi ecosystem built by Wallchain, aiming to measure and reward users with genuine influence in the crypto community. This system, through the Wallchain X Score and Quacks dual mechanism, comprehensively evaluates users' content dissemination and interaction quality on social platform X.

The Wallchain X Score assesses the overall influence of users on platform X, while Quacks reward high-quality content and effective interaction. Users contributing valuable content to the Solana ecosystem on the platform can earn Quacks. Additionally, the system leverages a large language model to analyze content quality, eliminate noise, and highlight genuine influence.

Through this mechanism, Wallchain effectively reduces the intermediary links between Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and project teams, promotes deep integration of roles such as KOLs, researchers, builders with the Solana ecosystem, and provides project teams with a quantifiable measure of community influence.

bam.fun

bam.fun is a decentralized creator monetization platform designed to help social media users of any scale engage in brand marketing through genuine influence and earn income. Whether you have 200 or 200,000 followers, as long as you have a trustworthy audience and genuine interaction, you can instantly participate in brand activities through the platform and start making money.

Users simply need to choose an ongoing brand activity, post social content according to the activity rules, and the platform will automatically track the impact of the content and distribute rewards. The entire process requires no application, no intermediaries; creators can collaborate directly with brands, with over $250,000 already distributed to global users through the platform.

bam.fun adopts the "Final Impact" scoring mechanism, which evaluates content value based on total views, follower quality, and genuine interaction, focusing on identifying credible views brought by high-signal users and filtering out low-quality or fake engagement. The platform automatically updates data every 6 hours, no proof submission is required, and all earnings and progress can be viewed in real-time in "My Campaigns."

At bam.fun, influence is no longer defined by the number of followers but rather returns to the essence of content quality and genuine interaction. This is a new type of content economic platform where everyone can participate and get paid based on their contributions.

Vly Wheel

The Vly Wheel is a social payment tool designed for Web3 within the Vly ecosystem, which has been used by multiple communities to incentivize social engagement. It is based on the core design of AttentionFi, redefining the value distribution of attention by tracking the information flow path across the entire network, identifying key influencer nodes, and rewarding based on real interaction and conversion effects.

Users can set tasks and reward rules with simple tweet commands (e.g., #vlywheel), and the Vly Agent will monitor all retweet behaviors within the specified time frame. After the task is completed, the system will randomly select a certain number of participants from the retweeters and automatically distribute tokens to them with no Gas fees. Using DIDA technology, even users without a registered Vly Wallet can seamlessly receive rewards.

The rewards from the Vly Wheel are not just for traffic but for rewarding the individuals who truly facilitate information dissemination, allowing every hop of influence to be converted into earnings and driving the Web3 content economy towards a new stage of real value distribution.
