The AI-based cryptocurrency research platform, Surf Copilot, announced on October 17th that it will collaborate with the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit to host a free subscription code giveaway event, offering 20,000 Surf membership codes to users who complete the event.
Surf provides users with an AI-driven conversation interface similar to ChatGPT for interactive cryptocurrency investment analysis. Users can engage with Surf through natural language to receive personalized investment insights. Founded on the idea of "changing the current trend of blind trading without learning," Surf targets a wide range of users from beginners to professional researchers and continuously introduces intelligent research features.
Since its launch in August, Surf's AI model has analyzed over 140 billion tokens (text processing units) and answered over 400,000 cryptocurrency-related questions. Korean users account for over 30% of the platform's user base, with rapid growth in the Korean market.
In this event, Upbit users only need to complete a short cryptocurrency knowledge quiz to receive a free one-month Surf Plus subscription code. This collaboration aims to improve the usability for Korean investors and enhance Surf's positioning in the market as the "next-generation AI cryptocurrency research tool."
Co-founder of Surf, Ryan Li, stated:
"We are excited to allow more users to experience Surf through our partnership with Upbit. Our goal is to help investors make rational investment decisions based on reliable data in a volatile market."
Surf is developed by Cyber. Founded in 2021, Cyber is headquartered in Palo Alto, USA, and is a blockchain technology company focused on Web3 infrastructure. Its team has previously built the live streaming platform DLive and Lino.
Cyber has raised a total of $30.5 million USD (approximately 43.3 billion KRW) from globally renowned investment firms such as Multicoin Capital, Animoca Brands, and Hashed. Its native token, CYBER, was officially listed on South Korea's largest exchange, Upbit, in August.
In the current accelerating trend of institutionalization, AI-driven research tools such as Surf are redefining the way individual investors access information, bringing a more intelligent, equitable, and open investment environment to the market.
