Polygon Chief Security Engineer: The Polygon Wallet browser plug-in is fake

According to BlockBeats, on August 29, Polygon lead security engineer RPolysec clarified on social media that a plugin called "Polygon Wallet" is currently available in Firefox and Chrome's plugin stores, "This plugin has nothing to do with Polygon and may be trying to impersonate authorities. We are investigating."
