Trading platform Bitvavo: 280 million euros in DCG memory cannot be withdrawn temporarily, which does not affect users' withdrawal
According to BlockBeats, on December 17, Bitvavo, a cryptocurrency trading platform in the Netherlands, said it has lost access to €280 million ($297 million) of assets stored in DCG. Bitvavo said it had €1.6bn worth of digital assets, of which €280m was deposited with DCG to provide off-chain pledge services to clients, but had been "suspended" due to liquidity issues. Bitvavo said its services would not be interrupted and customers could continue to withdraw cash from the trading platform.
