CoinDesk: The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the Solana eco-developer after it was revealed that he created 11 fake identities
BlockBeats News, January 12, according to CoinDesk, citing sources, the US Department of Justice is investigating brothers Dylan Macalinao and Ian Macalinao, developers of the Solana Eco cross-chain Stablecoin trading protocol Saber. Sources said investigators are seeking information about a network of cryptographic projects running around Saber, including Solana Ecodefi mobility app Sunny Aggregator and stabilization coin project Cashio.
As BlockBeats previously reported, Saber's chief architect Ian Macalinao was revealed to have 11 fake identities last August, Among them were Surya Khosla, developer of Solana Ecodefi revenue aggregator protocol Sunny, 0xGhostchain, founder of Cashio, Solana Algorithm Stablecoin project, and Goki, founder of Multi Sign Wallet Goki Rajesh et al. Thanks to the TVL algorithm written by Ian Macalinao, billions of dollars have been counted multiple times within Solana's DeFi ecosystem, which at least includes Sunny and Saber. Ian Macalinao has previously said that the explosive growth of TVL caused SOL's price to jump.
