According to BlockBeats news on May 9th, venture capital firm Mayfield has raised $955 million through two venture capital funds, which will be invested in fields such as artificial intelligence, data economy, deep technology, and Web3. The two funds are Mayfield XVII, with a size of $580 million, and Mayfield Select III, with a size of $375 million. As of now, Mayfield's total assets under management have reached $3 billion. Mayfield XVII mainly invests in early-stage companies or early customers (seed rounds and Series A rounds). Mayfield Select III will invest in breakthrough portfolio companies and new companies outside its investment portfolio (mainly Series B rounds). Previously, Mayfield had participated in NFT domain service provider Unstoppable Domains and meditation metaverse application Tripp.
