BONK DAO proposes to destroy nearly 280 billion BONK tokens obtained from BonkBot

According to BlockBeats, on April 20, BONK DAO launched a proposal on the Realms platform, proposing to destroy 278,393,137,215 BONK tokens from its treasury, which is equivalent to all the BONK tokens that BONK DAO has obtained through the revenue sharing agreement with BonkBot since BonkBot went online at the end of 2023. As the fastest Telegram trading robot on Solana, BonkBot has achieved great success since its launch in November 2023, with a trading volume of approximately US$5 billion and serving more than 315,000 users. BonkBot charges a 1% fee on all transactions, 10% of which will be distributed to BONK DAO. BONK DAO said that in the coming months, it will consider further destroying BONK revenue obtained from the DAO treasury, as well as continuing to explore forms of community participation in DAO decision-making, depending on the community's response to this proposal.
