Singapore's Cybersecurity Agency warns businesses of Bitcoin ransomware risks

BlockBeats news, on June 10, Singapore authorities including the Singapore Cybersecurity Agency issued a joint warning to remind local companies to pay attention to the growing threat of Akira ransomware variants.


The warning stated that the ransomware Akira stole $42 million from more than 250 organizations in North America, Europe and Australia in one year, and it is currently actively targeting companies in Singapore. (Cointelegraph)
