BlockBeats reported that on October 22, Ripple co-founder and executive chairman Chris Larsen said on Monday that he had donated another $10 million in XRP to support Vice President Harris' campaign for the US presidency.
The New York Times reported on Sunday that Larsen donated $10 million to Future Forward, a well-known Democratic political action committee, during a record fundraising quarter for Harris' campaign and related organizations. Larsen confirmed the report on Twitter, noting that the donation was made in the form of XRP.
"It's time for the Democratic Party to take a new approach to technological innovation, including cryptocurrency," Larsen wrote, adding that he is sure Harris will "ensure that American technology dominates the world."
