BlockBeats News, May 20th, on-chain analyst ChainNews reported that after Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilcke transferred 105,737 ETH to Kraken, almost an equivalent amount of ETH (104,746) was withdrawn from Kraken through 7 addresses. There are two possible scenarios:
· This was Jeffrey Wilcke's operation: transferring ETH to Kraken and then withdrawing it through multiple addresses, possibly to mix it on the exchange to prevent future tracking rather than selling these ETH.
· This was Kraken's risk control operation: after a large amount of value entered the exchange, it was stored in multiple wallets to reduce the risk of a single point of failure.
