SlowMist: AMOS Variant Trojan Steals Wallet Data via Fake AI Tool

BlockBeats News, September 18, SlowMist Chief Security Officer 23pds posted on X platform, stating that a variant of the AMOS spyware called Odyssey is currently distributing fake AI tool advertisements through channels such as Twitter, enticing users to download malware disguised as an AI tool client. It uses an AppleScript script as its main payload to steal sensitive data such as system information, browser data, and cryptocurrency wallet information.
