A whale "rug pulled" by unbonding 9.07M APX for two years, missing out on a $12.7M profit

2025-09-21 09:53

BlockBeats News, September 21st, according to cinder monitoring, a whale who staked 13.3 million APX two years ago recently sold 9.07 million APX over the past four days, exchanged for 2.27 million USDT, with a average selling price of $0.25.

Based on the current APX price of $1.60, this transaction missed out on approximately $12.7 million in profit. However, since the staking cost was only $0.033 per token, the staking rewards over the past two years have already exceeded the $440,000 cost.

Currently, the whale still holds 5.35 million APX, valued at around $8.82 million.
