BlockBeats News, October 5th, according to an official announcement, the CME Group announced that its cryptocurrency futures and options products will achieve 24/7 trading starting in early 2026, and is currently awaiting regulatory review and approval.


Starting in early 2026, CME Group's cryptocurrency futures and options will trade continuously on the CME Globex platform, with only a minimum of two hours of system maintenance over the weekend each week.


In addition, all holiday or weekend trading from Friday evening to Sunday evening will be considered as trading for the next business day, with clearing, settlement, and regulatory reporting also handled on the next business day.
