A certain Hyperliquid whale's private key is suspected to have been stolen, resulting in a loss of over $20 million.

According to MLM Monitor, a certain Hyperliquid whale wallet liquidated a $16 million HYPE long position approximately 11 hours ago, selling 100,000 HYPE (around $4.4 million). The reason appears to be a leaked private key, resulting in a complete drain of the account:

About $17 million was stolen from its Hyperliquid account;
Additionally, assets worth around $3.1 million deposited into the Plasma Syrup Vault (liquidity pool) were also stolen.

After the attack, the "hacker" transferred all stolen assets, converted the stolen USDC to DAI, and moved them to two new wallets where the funds are currently held. The hacker also moved $3.11 million worth of MSYRUPUSDP to another new wallet.
