EPIC Games has filed a trademark application for the term "Megaverse," which describes the application of virtual reality content in addition to game content, aiming to expand its reach into the metasverse market. However, there is no confirmation as to how EPIC Games will use the "Megaverse" trademark or whether the name is related to EPIC Games' predecessor EPIC MegaGames.
