EigenLayer has opened the first phase of the public test network, currently only supporting liquidity re-staking and native re-staking

On April 7, Ethereum re-staking protocol EigenLayer released the first phase of the EigenLayer protocol testnet on the Ethereum Goerli network, currently only supporting liquidity re-staking and native re-staking. Liquidity staking supports re-staking various liquidity tokens on the EigenLayer contract. The release of EigenLayer will be carried out in three phases, namely pledgers, node operators and services. EigenLayer said that the testnet is an early non-incentivized testnet and the code is under active development. 1. If you don’t have ETH on the Goerli test network, please get it from the following faucet:goerlifaucet.com

2. The current EigenLayer test network (https://goerli.eigenlayer.xyz) provides two Restaking methods: LSD Restaking and Native Restaking, for beginners we recommend the former method. You need to get Rocketpool's rETH and Lido's stETH on the testnet.

3. Exchange your Goerli ETH for Rocketpool's rETH here (https://testnet.rocketpool.net).

4. To get Lido's stETH, please click "Send" in the Little Fox Wallet and copy the contract address (0x1643E812aE58766192Cf7D2Cf9567dF2C37e9B7F), then select the amount of stETH you want to exchange and complete the exchange according to the instructions. After the exchange is successful, copy the above address in the wallet and add stETH to the wallet.

5. The preparation work is now complete. Next, you can return to the EigenLayer testnet homepage to restaking. Click the Rocketpool ETH and Lido Staked ETH options respectively, and follow the instructions to complete the restaking! 6.
