How to add Fantom to MetaMask?

Abstract

MetaMask is a cryptocurrency wallet App and browser plug-in that mainly interacts with the Ethereum mainnet. To download the plug-in, you can visit the official MetaMask website.

MetaMask installation and settings

Configure wallet

1. If Fantom support is added to MetaMask Wallet, some network details are required. First, open MetaMask and click on the Network drop-down menu.

Add Fantom tokens to MetaMask

You need to add it manually to add Fantom tokens, and Not FTM. Unimported tokens may still be received in your wallet.

1. Go to FTMScan and find the token contract and token details you want to add. If the token is not on FTMScan, always look for the contract address from the project official website or social media channels. Users must beware of false contracts created by criminals.

2. Return to MetaMask and click [Import Tokens].

Copy and paste the token contract address, MetaMask will automatically fill in the remaining details. If it doesn't fill in automatically, add it manually. Please click [Add Custom Token] to complete.
